What should I bring?
As the spa is a co-ed facility, please bring your bathing suit so that you may enjoy the Purifying Bath Ritual and outdoor pools.

Comfortable clothing will help achieve the ultimate goal of relaxation. In addition, it may be helpful to know that the majority of Wisconsin Dells-area businesses accept smart casual dress.

For hikes and athletic activities, please remember your hiking and/or athletic shoes, as well as fitness clothing.

Many of our overnight guests also find pleasure in bringing personal items including reading materials and journals.

What should I do when I arrive?
When checking in with our reservation desk, we will ask if you are a first time spa-goer. If the answer is yes, a Wellness Coordinator will provide one-to-one consultation to explain the experience, let you know what to expect and answer any questions or concerns.
top

What is the gratuity policy?
We've looked after the details of your stay so that you may relax from the moment you arrive. For your convenience, an 18% gratuity will be automatically added to all Spa and Salon services at check-in. No additional gratuities are expected. However, should this amount not reflect the amount you would like to provide as a gratuity for your service, simply indicate such at check-out and our front desk staff will happily make any adjustment you request.
top

Who should I inform of my medical conditions and allergies?
Please let both your Wellness Coordinator and therapist know if you have any special physical or medical needs, conditions or considerations. Some spa treatments are questionable in cases of pregnancy, allergies, high blood pressure or heart disease. This will enable us to plan for your best comfort.
top

Can I receive additional treatments the day of my scheduled appointment?
Our spa treatments are particularly sought-after, so we recommend reserving three weeks in advance. Should you want to add treatments on the day you arrive, simply inquire about openings during check-in. If there are openings available we will be happy to accommodate your requests.

What should I wear while at Sundara?
For the Purifying Bath Ritual, you'll wear your swimming suit. A locker, plush robes, sandals, towels, amenities and hairdryers are provided at the spa for all guests receiving treatments. Many of our suite guests prefer to wear their in-room bathrobes and sandals when walking between their guestroom and the spa. Suite guests, please leave jewelry and other valuables in your in-room safe. Our day guests are responsible for any items left in the locker room. In your best interest, please leave your valuables at home.
top

How early should I arrive for my spa treatments?
Please arrive a minimum of one hour before your scheduled appointment to allow ample time to check in, change, experience the Purifying Bath Ritual treatment, and to relax.

Please be ready in the Relaxation Lounge five minutes before your therapist meets you for your scheduled appointment.
top

What should I do before my treatment?
We highly recommend that you enjoy the Purifying Bath Ritual prior to your treatments. Showering is essential before any treatment, because the beneficial oils are best absorbed through clean skin.

To gain maximum benefits, allow at least one hour between your last meal and treatment. Also, avoid consumption of coffee or alcohol prior to massages or body treatments.

What can you tell me about your spa therapists?
We have attracted experienced, certified therapists from around the country who share a passion for contributing to the wellness of our guests and put guest satisfaction at the center of all they do. Each completes a rigorous training program, allowing for slight variations, naturally expected from one therapist to the next, all within our strict protocol.

If you have questions, experience discomfort (for example, too much or too little pressure) or awkwardness at any point, please speak with your therapist right away to ensure an experience that meets your expectations.

If you have a preference for a male or female provider, please inform the Wellness Coordinator at time of reservation. All providers are trained to discreetly drape you and respect your privacy at all times.

Do I have to disrobe entirely for a spa treatment?
Disrobe to your comfort level. Please keep in mind that our highly trained professionals will drape towels or sheets discreetly over areas not involved in the treatment to protect your privacy at all times.
top

Can I engage in physical activity after receiving a massage or body treatment?
Yes, just remember to be fully hydrated.
top

Is there a recommended interval for spa visits?
For optimum skin nourishment and health maintenance we recommend a monthly facial, and weekly massage therapy. Please consult with your therapist for recommended intervals for specific services.
top

Do you offer spa cuisine?
Our chef-prepared organic spa cuisine is available for both day and overnight guests. Enjoyed poolside at our Infinity Edge dining cabana, in suite, or on our indoor Radiance Rotunda balcony, you'll find our healthy meals to be both delicious and artfully presented. We have a sumptuous selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees, along with a sophisticated wine menu.<
