Body Treatments

Body treatments have been grouped into one of three series, based on style and method of each. The Sundara Series is a traditional approach using botanicals and minerals, the Chakra Series is based on the ancient Ayurvedic healing principles of India, and the Organic series uses the age-old remedies of fruits and herbs. The Chakra Series is based on the traditional 5,000-year-old healing science of India that encompasses authentic Ayurvedic principles. Creating an ideal state of being through bio-energy and spiritual disciplines is the outcome of these treatments. Special herbs, essences and aromas are integrated in the Chakra series. Following a Dosha, or body type analysis, treatments begin with a Ritual Footbath. The feet are washed with a detoxifying cleansing bar and massaged with fragrant massage oil. While the soothing benefits of the footbath are being realized, guests are given time to relax with their Dosha-specific tea. Purification and revitalization are felt from treatments in the Sundara Series. Taking a traditional spa approach, botanicals, minerals, water and heat are used to achieve inner and outer beauty. The Sundara Spa collection of products, drawing ingredients indigenous to the area, is integral to these treatments.The Organic Series incorporates the age-old remedies of herbs and fruits, and the healing powers that only nature can produce. "Toast to Summer" Package - Available Now through July

The anti-aging and antioxidant health benefits of grape seed extract from the Chardonnay grape permeate every part of this summer spa package.  It all begins with an invigorating body scrub using Chardonnay cleansing grains, followed by a relaxing soak in a chromatherapy bath with underwater lights that sequence through the uplifting colors of the rainbow, and then a soothing full-body massage.  From there, you'll move to the salon for a Chardonnay pedicure.  Toast to the blissfulness of it all with a glass of wine or sparkling juice.

Sundara Sandstone Polish

An invigorating treatment using Sundara Sandstone Body Polish as a scrubbing agent, this exfoliation refines, exfoliates and nourishes the skin. You are treated to a Vichy shower, then our Sundara Signature Hydrating Mist and Signature Hydrating Body Lotion application, leaving your skin renewed, healthy and glowing.

Sundara Body Boost

Refresh and regenerate with a body treatment designed to purify and eliminate toxins while stimulating circulation. An ideal cure for sluggishness and congestion, treatment begins with the Sundara Sandstone Polish, and follows with a clay body wrap. A Vichy shower rinses away the clay as your mind and body enjoy a deeper state of relaxation. Treatment concludes with a rehydration using Sundara's Signature Body Milk.

Sundara Herbal Infusion

This service is inspired by the therapeutic practice of using heat to detoxify the body, relax the mind and calm the spirit.  Beginning with massage using texturized gloves to encourage increased circulation and lymphatic flow, it is followed by massage using an essential oil blend that further stimulates circulation.  Linens infused with aromatic herbs are then wrapped around you to inspire perspiration, release impurities and ease tired, overworked muscles.  Feel your stress and fatigue melt away as you enjoy a face and scalp massage.  Your service concludes with additional massage, allowing your body to cool down gradually.

Shea Body Butter Indulgence

90 Min.
This treatment includes a wrap as well as a full body massage.  Rich, relaxing, indulgent, you’ll delight in every minute. Oil is applied to the skin, a salt scrub is gracefully sprinkled, and the two are gently massaged. Warm towels remove the mixture, preparing the skin for our creamy Shea Body Butter. While you’re enveloped in this richness, your head, face, neck and feet are massaged.  The final indulgence -- the remaining shea butter is massaged into the skin with a full body massage. More hydrating than you could ever imagine.

Thermal Mud Wrap

This intense treatment uses a symphony of organic ingredients high in minerals and trace elements to exfoliate, firm, tone and hydrate the skin.  While the thermal mud penetrates, you’re treated to a delicious face and scalp massage. A tingling Vichy rinse with seven shower heads removes the mud. The naseberry body lotion applied next will re-hydrate and nourish, leaving the skin soft, supple and glowing within.

Mother To-Be Body Treatment

We understand that expectant mothers are limited in their Sundara experience having to avoid hot water, heat and steam, so we designed this treatment especially for moms-to-be.  This treatment begins with a relaxing soak in an organic milk bath followed by a full body hydration using products from the Erbaviva organic mommy and baby line.
