Position: Nail Technician (Non-Exempt)

Accountable To: Spa Director + Lead Esthetician + Lead Salon

Job description

The Sundara Inn & Spa Nail Technician takes great care to treat the whole person. Your healing touch will come through in all you do, from pedicures to manicures and everything in between. You’ll take great pleasure in educating guests on the benefits of the services, making thoughtful recommendations for their spa-at-home care. Your nurturing ways will help guests relax and enjoy every minute of their experience.

Education and Experience
Wisconsin cosmetologist license
Preferred to have 2-3 years of experience in a spa or upscale salon setting

Availability
Flexibility, with nights and weekends required

Guest Experience
Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner, at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction
Welcome guests to facilities
 Create an atmosphere of tranquility, nurturing and healing, allowing guests to relax and immerse themselves in the experience
Communicate the benefits of the services and answer guest questions, using each as a teaching moment
Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with management and fellow employees (both within the department and in other departments), to achieve our common goals of maximizing guest satisfaction and profit margins
Address guest concerns in a thoughtful and gracious manner, even under pressure

Spa Service and Operations
Perform all services within your licensing, according to the written protocols and to the high standards of Sundara Inn & Spa
Perform all services within your licensing, according to the written protocols and to the exclusive standards of the Sundara Spa Lifestyle Villas
Participate in all training and attend all team meetings, contributing positive ideas at every opportunity
Continue to gain knowledge in your profession
Assist in training of new team members
Strive to exceed all goals within service standards and retail sales
Treat the cleanliness and condition of Sundara as if it were your own
Uphold cleaning and sanitizing standards in the spa zone, as required to meet Sundara’s impeccable standards
Assist with maintenance and daily cleanliness of the Relaxation Lounge
Adhere to all standard policies and procedures
Report to work on time, in proper attire, impeccably groomed, and “in the moment” ready to deliver exceptional guest service
Work all scheduled shifts
Maintain all inventory levels in the spa zone
Communicate ideas or issues to your Spa Manager in a timely manner
Read the daily communication log to update yourself on the newest information concerning the spa
Miscellaneous projects as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
