NEW Immunity Boosting Yoga

This class is designed to support and boost your immunity system. It’s not a high-intensity practice – it’s a healing, nurturing, and calming yoga flow. The poses encourage relaxation, reduce stress, and facilitate circulation throughout your whole body. While yoga as a whole supports optimal wellness in our minds and bodies, there are certain yoga poses for immunity that can help if you’re feeling stress, depletion, fatigue, or simply looking for a healthy dose of prevention.

NEW Yoga for Back Pain

This class will help you stretch and strengthen muscles that support back and spine, which helps reduce muscular tension, increase flexibility in your hip and spine, and reduce lower back pain. Regular practice will help to improve your mobility, balance and bone strength. Along with a series of poses and continuous focus on proper breathing you also will improve the emotional aspect of back pain by helping to lower stress and alleviate anxiety and depression.

NEW Sound Bath

Sundara Sound Bath is a meditative experience where you will be “bathed” in sound waves from our 7 Crystal Chakra Singing Bowls.

A sound bath creates a state of harmony by using sound to clear discordance from your energy fields. Among the benefits are relaxation, an increased sense of well-being, expanded awareness, and possible access to an inner visionary experience.

NEW Yamas Journaling

The Yamas, rooted in our connection with the world and our interactions within it, guide us to make conscious decisions that align with our true selves.

1. Ahimsa (non-violence)

4. Brahmacharya (moderation of the senses/right use of energy)

Breathwork

Breathwork refers to any type of breathing exercises or techniques. People often perform them to improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. During breathwork you intentionally change your breathing pattern.

Yoga

Gentle flow yoga is held daily to clear your mind,  stretch your body and energize your soul.

Yoga For Stress Relief

This class is a wonderfully nourishing and soothing set of practices and Pranayama (Breathing Technique) that help to regulate the nervous system and bring more calmness into our lives.

Yin Yoga

is a slow-paced style of yoga as exercise, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles.

Gentle Stretch Yoga

Gentle stretches that improve range of motion throughout the body. Feel more relaxed and balanced after this class.

Relax & Renew Aromatherapy Yoga

This gentle flow opens your body, allowing it to fully relax and rejuvenate. A slow, simple yet profound practice complemented by calming essential oils will leave you feeling renewed and ready for a new week.

Sound Healing Yin Yoga

Calm and peaceful sound healing therapy Yin yoga uses singing bowls to tune up your Chakras energy. Starting with the Root Chakra and moving through each, up to the Crown Chakra.

Each of the seven Chakra poses is harmonized with the color and tone of the bowl to enhance your Chakras energy.

Chakra Yoga

We focus mainly on the chakra system located along the spine. The instructor will explain the chakra & how it can inspire you in your daily life to live with more self-awareness and harmony.

Nidra Meditation

Through guided meditation, while lounging in a soft slipper chair, move into a deep state of relaxed conscious awareness, known as “yogic sleep”. No movement or activity is needed.

Yoga Nidra

Like meditation, but yet it’s not. With yoga nidra, you are lying down and the goal is to move into a deep state of conscious awareness sleep, which is a deeper state of relaxation with awareness. Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation that is also known as “yogic sleep.” Yoga Nidra is usually practiced lying down and is a guided class. No movement or activity is needed.

Water Yoga

This popular class allowing for low impact flow of postures is available regularly in our outdoor pool. Open to all levels.

Meditation

Calm the mind, ease anxieties and bring balance to your life through guided meditation incorporating mantras and mindfulness. 

NEW - Chanting Meditation

Chanting involves rhythmic, repetitive singing or speaking of sounds and phrases either vocally or mentally. Chanting engages the physical and the mental aspects of our lives – through Voice. Voice is a powerful medium, by which one can inspire, lift the soul and empower others.

In this wellness class we will explore Mantras that will connect us to our hearts, such as the mantra of Forgiveness, Healing, Peace, Gratitude, and Compassion.

Moving Meditation

Moving meditation is a meditative state – a shift of consciousness – while doing slow, controlled, simple movements similar to Tai Chi. It is a way of calming the mind and creating awareness, and providing a path to contemplation. Open to all levels. 

Chakra Meditation Trail

Seven stops corresponding to the seven chakras or energy centers in the body with meditation stops at each will guide you to good intentions for the day.

 

 

Healthy Smoothies

Get all the nutrients your body needs! This wellness class will start you creating your delicious smoothies by introducing combinations of nutritious ingredients to incorporate into your diet to help you transition into a healthier lifestyle.

Mixology

Learn how to make Sundara Style cocktails using fresh ingredients and house-made syrups. 

Scenic Pontoon Cruise

See the land and water that we so love in Wisconsin Dells. Please inquire at the time of reservation about the availability of cruises on lovely Lake Delton, a mere stone’s throw from our front entrance.

Skin Care

Learn the basics of a healthy skincare regime from Sundara’s lead aestheticians. The class covers easy-to-follow at-home tips while dispelling common misperceptions about the dos and don’ts of keeping your skin glowing and healthy.

Hammock Retreat

The ideal spot for napping or quiet contemplation with towering pines providing the scenery and the only sound being the chirping of birds.   

 

Guided Hike

Over the two‐mile loop on the property, you’ll learn about the natural surroundings while enjoying the mood‐boosting benefits of a brisk fitness walk. Sturdy walking shoes or sneakers are required.

Biking

Men’s and women’s multi-speed mountain bikes with helmets are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis from 7 a.m. until dusk. Ask the front desk staff for countryside route recommendations.
