Job Summary

Sundara Inn & Spa Reservationists are the first point of contact for our guests, making this an especially important position in creating wonderful first impressions and exceptional lasting impressions. You’ll have a tremendous amount of guest contact, from the moment guests first call for information and reservations, to the moment they arrive, and then throughout their visit. You’ll act as concierge, happily providing those special touches to make their visit extraordinary. You’ll be a source of knowledge on everything from the suites to the outdoor recreation, from the spa services to the spa products, from our cuisine to special destinations in the community. Through word and deed, you will be a beacon of the Sundara way.

Experience

Understanding of the hotel industry and guest service

Job Description

Acquaint guests with available services
Enthusiastically answer questions and provide accurate, helpful information
Perform concierge services such as transportation, courier and golf arrangements, and any special guest requests such as phone reservations at other establishments
Maintain a cooperative, team attitude in working with management and fellow employees (within the department and in other departments), to help achieve our common goals of maximizing guest satisfaction and profit margins
Facility and Security
Read the daily communication log and emails to update yourself on the newest information
Assist whenever necessary in keeping the reservations office and mail station clean and well stocked
Graciously perform miscellaneous projects as needed
Conduct confirmation calls and audits as assigned
